The hotel is beautiful, and we had absolutely stunning views from our room. The room was large and very comfortable. The hotel is in a very quiet village but a good location to explore the museums and amenities of Bath, Bristol and Wells as well as some smaller attractions in the surrounding villages. There is a bus route through the village but I'd recommend travelling by car, possibly using the park and ride if visiting Bath or Bristol. The hotel itself has a lot of steps. A lift is available but there are still a couple of steps to some areas. The ground floor has accessible rooms and level access. The hotel does not allow dogs except for assistance dogs. The staff are all lovely and welcoming. The meals were fantastic. We had the buffet breakfast every day, we had one meal in the bar, and we had two evening meals in the restaurant. They were all delicious and cooked perfectly.

From the moment you enter the bottom of the drive this hotel is amazing, easy to park close to main entrance its immaculately clean and welcoming all areas are to very good standard of decor and so relaxing. Perfect after day out on the train from Freshford to Bath in 10 mins you just buy tickets on train, beautiful area to visit all around Lacock...Bradford on Avon etc. .staff so helpful and kind anything you ask for...more towels...iron anything is bought to you no problem at all. Had the best view overlooking peaceful countryside through gorgeous large fully opening windows decorated very tastefully lovely desk and ornate chair. Clean crisp white linen. Refreshing powerful shower plenty of hot water and again immaculately clean.can't wait to book again would not hesitate to recommend. Thank you for making our stay so special

The peace and quiet of the location, the staff were very welcoming and friendly, they had struggled quite a lot with a roadworks issue (closed road) so getting to the property was a little bit daunting but once you were there it was a tranquil heaven. The breakfast was extremely inviting, everything cooked fresh. There was lovely quaint bar to have that nightcap or a coffee, we sat outside in the garden early evening just taking in the quietness. The room had recently been refurbished, so was freshly painted and very modern, there was a lovely bath which was very welcoming after coming back from 10 days in Malta with only a shower, it was great, we would not hesitate to stay again.

I recently stayed at this charming location and had a wonderful experience overall. The hotel is situated about a £15 Uber ride and 10 minutes away from town, making it easily accessible. The natural surroundings are stunning, with beautiful views and a well-maintained garden. My room was spacious and clean, and the bathroom was excellent. When I woke up, the cleaners were working on other rooms but did so in such a gentle manner that I hadn't noticed. The staff were warm and welcoming, which added to the pleasant stay. I would definitely stay here again, though I might skip the breakfast next time.

The staff were very welcoming, our room was good & views of countryside was amazing. Disappointed a little in restaurant, although they had a wedding, next door, we ate in- house but room was very sparce, 1 small line of xmas lights, & that was it!!! . Tables spaced out & bare room very unchristmassy & bland. Food was good & well priced. Easy to make room better than it was.
